Patients with arthritis find it difficult to move the affected parts due to severe pain experienced by them. There are two major types of arthritis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis affects the weight bearing larger joints such as knee joint and hip joint causing swelling and severe pain. Rheumatoid arthritis generally attacks smaller flexible joints (synovial) and may also affect many tissues and organs.

The symptoms of arthritis may be different in different people. Some may feel severe persistent pain. Others may feel a stabbing pain especially in chilly climates.

None of these arthritis has any single or complete treatment procedure. Reducing weight, taking proper exercise, medication etc can help you to reduce the pain and live a more happy life.
